A family member went to Dr. P. Following procedure, they developed what appeared to be an infection. At the follow-up appointment, he 'diagnosed' it as a rash without conducting a physical examination and left the room before further questions could be asked. We were still concerned so naturally, we got other opinions. Both other doctors disagreed with his diagnosis and confirmed what was originally thought. Gaslit me the entire visit telling me there is nothing wrong with me, and noted that my previous orthopedic surgeon didn't know what they were talking about and completely discredited them. He was insensitive and thought he knew more about the pain I was experiencing than I did.
For 9 months he neglected my daughters knee injury and said she was making it up. Dr Poon never did any kind of diagnostic tests until November when he ordered an MRI. He said her knee was fine still, never showed me the report or MRI. I went to a second opinion and found out he knee cartilage is cracked, the bone below her knee is cracked and possible meniscus tear. She now is having surgery in a few weeks. I don't recommend Dr Poon or his office
Dr. Poon did a great job operating on my fractured wrist 2 years ago. I fell on ice a week before Christmas. He managed to get my operation done the following Monday before Christmas, in December 2014. He was exhausted with this added on surgery with his scheduled patients. I thank Dr. Poon for operating on me, on such a short notice.
