He avoids responsibility for practicing medicine. He will not prescribe any nsaids for persons with bone on bone, cervical spondylitis or arthritic hips and arm joints.will not give referrals without multiple requests over writing messages and documenting. Knew exactly what I was there for.
Dr Blumen is an excellent and experienced doctor that always spends time with you. He is concerned for your health and makes sure that all your health needs are taken care of. He has taken extra steps with me to make sure I get the right referral too. My only concern is their staff could smile more and be happy about their choice in their medical profession. Its obvious that they are not happy with their job.
Very thorough and up to date on medications and new procedures.

Dr. Blumen is an excellent diagnostician. He diagnosed from some symptoms I was having that I might have a brain tumor and told me to have a MRI within 2 days. I did have 2 meningiomas, one being very large. He saved my life. He could be a little warmer with patients, especially children. While his diagnoses have been very good for me and my husband, his diagnoses for problems with my childrens' nose and gastronomic issues was somewhat lacking.
