Dr. Scherder is amazing! He is super friendly and personable—-he is extremely knowledgeable and uses state of the art equipment. I’ve had three crowns and root canals (with his partner Dr. Carringon)......Little to no pain or bruising—-they follow up the next day to check on you. Last but not least the office faces a marina and feels more like a spa than a dental office. Highly recommend Dr. Scherder and his practice.
Doctor is CLUMSY and IRRESPONSIBLE! While replacing my worn crown, Dr. Scherder cut my lower lip with dental bur. I was bleeding profusely and he has the audacity to laugh with his assistant at me!! He told me I bit my lip and caused it. UNBELIEVABLE!! I now have a scar on my lip from an incompetent dentist. I do NOT recommend this so called doctor to anyone!!!
Yes, the office is beautiful, yes, there are boats you can look at while you are in the dentist's chair, beautiful people beautifully dressed work in the office, and yes, they have valet parking. But guess who pays for all that - YOU! Over a weekend a few months ago, one of my veneers fell off a tooth. We had just moved to Naples, so I did not have a regular dentist yet. Dr. Scherder removed my amalgam fillings and during the procedure leaned so hard on one of my front teeth causing it to shift and become crooked, then refuse to take responsibility.
