Renter Beware! Management Fabricates Claims to Keep Damage Deposits I only lived in this building for one year, and when I moved out, management completed a “pre–move-out walk-through inspection”. During that inspection, they specifically told me the suite was very clean and that there were no damages they could charge me for. I left the unit in excellent condition. When it came time to book the official move-out inspection, the manager suddenly became “unavailable,” even though we had tried to schedule it days before the en... read more
“Extremely Poor Management & Multiple Issues With the Building” I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with this building has been frustrating enough that I feel other tenants deserve a fair warning. Management here is very difficult to deal with communication is slow, unhelpful, and often dismissive. Simple concerns turn into stressful back and forth, and resolving even basic issues takes way longer than it should. On top of that, the heating in the building has major problems during the winter months. U... read more
I can never get in touch with the building manager here. Emails are never answered. When I try to meet in person, I’m told to send an email to book an appointment — but they never reply to those emails either. What’s the point of having a building manager if residents can’t reach them at all? I have an issue with my bill where I was overcharged, and the system can’t seem to fix it. Why should I have to pay for charges I didn’t use? And why am I the one dealing with a problem I didn’t cause? I’ve never lived in a building whe... read more
I chose to live at Edmonton House even though it’s pricey — because the view from the top floors is unmatched. It’s a 45-storey tower (with 11 floors of parking), and from way up there you get the Saskatchewan River, the green sweep of the city, and that endless Alberta sky with its drifting clouds. That view is why I moved here. It felt magical. But ever since Leston took over, everything’s changed — and not for the better. There’s no concierge anymore. No security. Doors stay broken for weeks. People set off fireworks insi... read more
We have been living in this building since April 2024. In the beginning, everything was great — communication with the office was excellent, and the staff were always open and willing to help tenants. Unfortunately, all the old employees are gone, and now we are left to deal with our problems on our own. The current management is unprofessional. The office is closed, and the concierge doesn’t allow you to enter unless you have an appointment — but you can’t get one, because no one responds. The billing system is incorrect, a... read more
