I had a great experience at Edmonton Eye Clinic despite some of the negative reviews I’ve read. I was able to get in the same day due to a cancellation, which was a lifesaver for my condition. The staff was professional and my appointments were very timely (waited less than 10 mins). My technician was friendly and explained every test clearly. A huge thank you to Dr. Rasouli, who gave me the time and attention I needed to finally get a clear treatment plan for my recurring styes. Highly professional and helpful clinic!

Four Stars because the Ophthalmologist was great. I was disappointed in the unfriendly staff, only one of the three people who attended to me had a smile. The rest looked like they were annoyed to be there. The main reason for this review is the visual field test: One person started me off, and then I waited for awhile for the other eye to be tested and the girl who took over for whomever started the test was very snarky, scowling, and generally seemed pissed off to be there. My appointment was for 11:00am. I waited in the outer office for over on hour before an employee brought me in to check my eyes. She said they were backed up due to emergencies. Once I saw the doctor, I was told it was staff shortages. Maybe they are triple booking!! Find another eye clinic.

First visit at this clinic today. Dr. Galvez was lovely, as were the front desk staff and the technician who did my eye-pressure test. But the staff member who did my remaining tests did not allow me to bring my support person with me, and was unfriendly to the point of contempt. She made the experience stressful and even dehumanizing. Truly bizarre. I hope I don't have to go back.
