It's obvious why your security staff has had such bad press. I was just harassed by them too.
The security guards suck. You could call them racist, unprofessional, stupid or all of the above. Whatever you call them, they're morons with badges. I won't go to this mall again after what happened to Gary Moostoos.
Your security needs a total overhaul and training in how to respectfully deal with the general public. The latest blunder by your team is just one of a litany of complaints I have heard over the past several years. I have met friends down in the food court on a couple of occasions. those friends were first nation or from other minority groups.
