I was greeted by a warm and professional staff. I arrived early so I waited for my appointed time and I was called. My history and my vitals were taken by her assistant with no issues. Dr. Henriquez came in shortly afterward, she graciously introduced herself and ushered me into the exam room. She went over my medical history and asked relevant questions. In my years of going there, many of my conditions were dismissed and not treated with the response that there's nothing I can do about it. Oh, it's just musculoskeletal. Often times, I feel like the doctor having to diagnose myself and take charge of what I think has to be done. What I don't like is that she inserts her opinion in what comes off as judgemental when you are there for her professional opinion only. Dr. Henriquez is a total militant pain the ass when in comes to your health. Which is what you want when it comes to an internist / GP! While she will call you at the most inconvenient times to see if you've done your follow-up's despite "your busy life," she's not screwing around because she genuinely cares about those wonky test results. She is truly professional.
