Straight forward , no run around or misleading information like some of the other websites , I personally believe that they will do exactly what they say they'll do !
Mistake is a word that does not fit the inventor's mind as we experiment to find new ideas and solutions. I would call it 'experimental outcome' rather than a mistake', only because experimental outcomes force us to come up with new ones to see if they suit the invention's purpose. Experimental outcomes may not suit one invention but could suit for another purpose if chosen and focused for that purpose in another time.
I think Edison Nation has it just right. Their evaluation process is spot on. They will not mislead hopeful inventors in order to make money. They also keep their licensing partners interested by only giving them the ideas that check all the boxes. (Unfortunately, even some great ideas don't check all the boxes). I had my invention at another company, which is a good company at a fair price, but because they don't evaluate products, mine got lost in the static.
