About this business

Specialties Specializing in a great pub style menu with emphisis on local oysters, seafood and steaks. Known for our passion for shuffleboard with two tables. Even better known for our Saturday and Sunday live music as we attract talented bands that have our dance floor filled. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. History Established in 1934. About 1900, the owner of the establishment was John Bradley. The town of Edison had four bars at one time, but this one survivied prohibition (1917-1933) by operating as a soda fountain,... read more

A local gathering spot with good food and an old time be ambiance. And dancing to live music Saturday and Sunday nights!

LOVED this place. Old saloon feel to the place. Great food and awesome service by Mallory. We will definitely return.

Been going to The Edison for a few years and have always enjoyed the casual atmosphere, friendly staff and pretty good food, BUT was so disappointed in our food last night!! Had the crab cake sandwich, enjoyed a number of times before, it was truly uneatable. My husband loves the lamb burger, it arrived very bland and not tasty at all. Clam chowder was excellent. New cook?? Also for a Friday night 7:00, total of 4 people dining?? We were worried we may not get a table. Hope the food quality returns soon. 😀

Loved that small hometown feel of the place. Waitress was friendly and helpful. My husband had sirloin steak and was very happy with it. I had the special 1/4 rack of ribs and prawns very disappointed. Ribs were burnt and could only choke down half of them. Slaw and garlic bread were good.

Five stars all day long! We had our class reunion icebreaker there, and we couldn't have had better service, food, and drinks. They helped to make great memories!

Great burgers! Hand formed patty, local beef and bun. Cooked to perfection. Add hand made onion rings for the perfect combination. Fish and Chips, fried oysters and a really good Crab Cake. Two shuffle boards and a great beer garden. What's not to love?
