The grounds are an excellent piece of preserved history. Beautiful flora pieced together by Edison's second wife, Mina and a rich Victorian / Edwardian setting for Tom to invent essential machines for america's evolution. Spend the money and get the guided tour, not only will you learn lots about T. Edison and H. Ford from enthusiastic guides, the proceeds go back into keeping the estate impeccably cared for. This place really took me aback. It's fabulous! I am now going to try to create a moon garden in our backyard. :)
The plantings alone are worth the visit. The tour guide that we had was excellent, he seemed to have the answer to every question no matter how obscure.
Great place to visit loved the houses 1920 period really enjoyed the day.
Have fond memories of visiting this place. I left feeling very touched and impressed by Edison's life and work.
Cori & Emily were the best people to work with. They helped bring everything together for our wedding. We were very organized and they took detailed notes on exactly how we wanted things to go and were very helpful with suggestions for areas that we were unsure of. On the day of, they were with their team of interns and volunteers coordinating and taking care of issues and everything was taken care of.
Beautiful grounds . Tour was very informative. Well worth the money .
