Incredibly high staff turnover rate. Minimal oversight from management. Workers do not discuss client details/history with each other or with the client, leading to client distrust and a total inability to execute IAPs. Workers do not meet deadlines and will no show on a regular basis. I've heard several employees refer to clients as "cash cows." One of the clearest cases of necessary legal reform in Massachusetts.
The Edinburg Center's treatment of people with mental illness is entirely through the lense of stereotypes. This produces profound power imbalances within the staff/client relationship. To be fair the entire mental health system is like this. Subservient to the powers that be. Being "subservient" comes natural to a person with mental illness. Recovery is contrary to being subservient.

I'll try to stop the tomfoolery. It's important to understand that Psychiatric help for the poor is a fight for life. Despite a departure from work shops, clinical pharmachology extends to the community and the Clubhouses that serve. There is a strong theme for absolute performance.
