The people of the Edinburg Center are some of the worst people, I have ever met. Granted these people are in some way "trained in Mental Illness Recovery models." I just wouldn't say they are trained well. It's either that or they refuse to practice his/her/they training at all. One woman, supervised me being medicated to the gills. I lived in a mess at that time. I was just on so much meds and trying so hard at jobs and the Psychosocial Clubhouse that I could not find it in myself to clean. The Edinburg Center is like the Hotel California. "We are programmed to receive You can check out any time you like But you can never leave". Very few clients if any move on from their services to independent living. The clients are "cash cows". To be fair the entire mental health system is like this in Massachusetts. Without "clients" there would be no mental health system.
