Best Bakery in Charlotte!!!! – This bakery is phenomenal. I sent them several pictures I had found on the internet, and they duplicated this to the nth degree! It exceeds all of my expectations. The customer service is wonderful, the shop is ultra clean, and pastry skills supberb! I really can't imagine my wedding or bridal shower without a cake from Edible Art. They are THE BEST IN CHARLOTTE! I wouldn't trust anyone else for any cake I need. I am a customer for life!!! Cindy Charlotte, NC

have your cake and eat it too !! – This shop located in Myers Park is great! The women there are so nice and creative and they have the best cakes of anywhere in the south bar none. Be careful with them though (the cakes). They don't like heat and they don't like the fridge. The cakes stay good for days. Yum. I think I'll go by tomorrow and buy a slice.

Waste of time and money – I called to inquire about ordering a birthday cake for a birthday and the person on the phone was very abrupt. I had visited their website and just wanted to know more about the types of cakes they would be able to prepare. I was told they were busy, it was too complicated to explain to me on the phone & just to come in. I came in early next week to order & again was treated abruptly (borderline rude). Awesome! – Edible Art of Charlotte is definitely the place for your special occasions cakes! Homemade, made from scratch pound cakes and real buttercream icing, they are truly works of art- need I say more?? The staff at Edible Art was so patient and helpful in helping my daughter create her dream wedding cake. It looked awesome and tasted even better. I love this place!! – I can't say enough good things about Edible Art of Charlotte!!! The cakes there are superb! They are truly works of art. The staff is very professional and always helpful. I have truly loved everything I have ever gotten there. One time I got a cake that wasn't quite what I had in my mind. I didn't really know how to convey what I wanted over the phone. Not edible, definitely not art – I ordered a 6" birthday cake from Edible Art but what I received was trash. The cake was extremely dense yet dry. I wasn't specific with the artwork of the cake when I ordered because from their display cakes, I was sure I wouldn't be disappointed. Boy was I wrong. The cake looked like it took 10 minutes to put together. The flower colors weren't even coordinated, the cake just looked cheap. When I picked up the cake, they didn't even put it in a box that fit.
