I went to Edgewood Smiles Dentistry on May the 6/7 to get dental work done. I was told that I didn't have coverage although my insurance was on their portal, I had to contact my insurance Provider and let them speak to someone at the front desk, my insurance provider email them my information showing them that my insurance was indeed active. Before I could get service I had give them my Institution information, I paid them $350.00 up front, I was never told what the money was for. I received a crown the following day. My car... read more
I would not recommend this dentist! They tried to scam me and make me pay for more expensive procedures than I needed. I had a horrible experience in the office overall, and when I saw the dentist she lied to me and said that I had a huge cavity that needed an expensive filling that wouldnt be covered by my insurance. I went to a different dentist office for a second opinion and it turns out that I didnt have any cavities!
Would not recommend. Waited over an hour after my appointment time to be seen, waited on the waiting room for 35 mins and then was taken into another room to wait another 40 mins before taking an x-rays. The doctor came and spoke to me briefly and once we decided on a treatment the receptionist came to go over pricing and insurance information. What the receptionist told me did not match with what the doctor told me so I was trying to explain that to the receptionist and she was committed to arguing her point over trying to ... read more
