The mall has the center taped out and my 1 year old ran in the taped off area. He’s 1!! He didn’t know. But my issue is the employee. Who screamed at my child and came charging at him like he intended on doing something. Unsafe to bring your children if you’re gonna hire people like that.

RecommendedHate seeing all of the bad rep that Edgewood Mall is getting. I LOVE my safe and local mall. I love how friendly all of the security guards store employees, and janitors are. They may not even know you but they are going to smile and help you in any way they can. I see security guards walking around constantly and have also seen police take time out of their schedules to check on our mall, so I don’t understand where someone thinks the mall is “unsafe”. Not a safe place to take yourself, must less your children! Stay away!
How in the world do you wait until 1 PM to open and expect to survive in retail? Also, if you’re going to wait until 1 PM, make sure you have nicer security guards sitting around to run paying customers out of the store. The guy who told me to get out is directly responsible for GNC losing some business. Hope he reads this!

This is such a great mall. Clean and friendly atmosphere.
Edgewood Mall may be small but it has hometown feel. It has the right balance of Small businesses and corporate ones.I always feel safe and love how everyone is friendly and helpful.
I used to enjoy coming here growing up. food court was popping and they had dollar general, bookland, payless and rue21. now the place appears deserted. empty dark rooms with bars, never to be used again. it reminds me of a zombie apocalypse. I'm not even sure I can even call this a real mall. a real mall has a variety of stores and food court options. I'm sure quite a few employees are counting down their days until their store too closes. it's just sad. I just wish it had more y'know
