Our Edgewood Homes built home has had many water leaks since new. None are due to mulch beds being too high as the builder suggested or any deferred maintenance by the homeowner. I wish we would have never purchased a home built by Mike Kandra. 17+ years later we are still dealing with water intrusion through the soft brick that he installed. Needed a new roof after 7 years. He took a lot of shortcuts building our spec home. Hidden shortcuts that you don't discover until you have lived there for a little while. Why?
