Cool bar and a nice place to meet travelers.
Allis, our server was outstanding today! We were there around 1:30 to celebrate our grandsons graduation from UNCC where Allis, is an Alumni. She seated us immediately and her service was personable and on point. We were also pleased to have the Chef come out and serve his famous corn and crab soup to my husband. Thank you to the manager as well. Thank you all for making this day very special.
Poor excuse for a lobby bar. All tables are either high tops or medium tops. Nothing comfortable to unwind in. Lighting is harsh as well. Standard drinks, unappealing food. There is much better a short walk away.
A long time ago I gave this place a 5 star rating. I married my husband at the hotel and had the reception at Edgewater, so we wanted to have our 10th anniversary dinner here. Unfortunately, we retuned to a very different place. The romantic atmosphere of the dining area with a view of the lake was gone (only open for breakfast now apparently). This was very misleading from Edgewater's social media, which showed their dinners plated with the lake view in the back, advertising a great date night. We got dressed up and arrived... read more
