We needed to have the heat sink reset. Other shops quoted us extremely high prices. Edge Tech did it quickly for a very reasonable price. I'm about to head back in with another laptop.
I've been getting my launch-day PS3 repaired by them since the first time it pulled a YLOD on me. They honor warranty periods which has saved me from a second repair twice now, so it's awesome to see someone stand behind their work in such a way. If anything ever goes sideways with my PS4 slim, I know where I'm headed.

After my barely two year old Samsung LCD tv got the "grey screen of death," I took it to Edge Tech. It worked just fine with them, but they left it on for three more days to make sure. They opened it up and found one part that might need replacing but not just yet because it was still working. Then they called me and told me it was fine and they would only charge me for the diagnostic. They suggested maybe I had a power surge that may have temporarily affected it. I took my PS3 that had the red light of death, and they fixed it in a couple days! It was pretty cheap and it works great now. I would recommend them to others. It was odd that no one called me to say that it was ready to be picked up, I had to call and ask them, but it wasn't a big deal.
