I hiked this trail yesterday , 7 /15/2022 and if you are out of shape like me it's no joke. I am not an hiker at all but decided I need to get out of the house and move. This trail was supposed to take only a little over an hour. But because I am 57 years old and since covid not that I am scared to be out but because it's just the way I ended up have not been out much it took 2 hours 53 minutes. Great place to go, take some snacks and enjoy the evening with family and friends: be sure to pick up your trash and keep the area clean!
Great place to get outdoors. Well marked trail that makes a 3 mile loop. When the water is low, you can climb out onto the rocks in the middle of the Amicalola River. Pack a lunch!
Get there early get a spot to chill before it gets to packed.
