Eden Valley is an incredible mental health agency. Savannah, the clinical director, is a skilled therapist and an excellent teacher who dedicates a lot of time to training new therapists. Eden Valley is truly making a difference in our community, working to expand mental health access to all.
Cael Barkman is by far the worst therapist i’ve had and has even managed to create more trauma for me. I was originally drawn to them because they advertised as having experience working with queer people. Goes by they/them pronouns but advises transgender people not to medically transition because they don’t personally believe in it. I’ve been struggling with my mental health for a long time & I finally got the strength to find help, when I discovered Eden Valley it seemed perfect for what I needed & I emailed them to get the process stated. Well 5 days later (the website says they always return messages with in 2 days) I finally got my reply, a short cold message telling me they couldn’t help. I have been working with a clinician at this practice for going on four years now. I am always treated with dignity and respect and I have received the most excellent counseling from my provider. She has seen me through the deaths of two family members and I honestly do not know what I would do without her services.
