Best experience ever coming here. I'm a FTM & from the moment I called l&d to let them know I was contracting to the moment I left I was completely taken care of. All of my nurses went above & beyond for my labor and followed my entire birth plan beginning to end. I felt so comfortable in my most vulnerable moment. My postpartum nurses as well went out of their way especially on my first night . 10/10 no complaints ( besides the beds being hard) & if I have another baby I will be giving birth here for sure. Just wanted to share my very positive experience at Eden Hospital, not sure why the rating is low. I recently delivered my baby there, and the nurse who helped with my induction is an angel. She was professional, kind, and very thoughtful. And every nurse, doctor, pediatrics I met during my stay in the hospital was incredibly kind and helpful. Really appreciate all the help there!
Our 2 babies were born at this birthing center. The first experience (2 years ago) was good but the recent experience was very poor. 1. My wife’s OB went on leave just 2 weeks before due date. They did not even bother to call us to explain. 2. The nurses were totally hands-off. Only one nurse actually seemed interested in helping deliver the baby. 3. The anesthesiologist (Jimmy Liu) was inexperienced and incompetent. The epidural anesthesia that he gave to my wife did not work well. My wife was in extreme pain for 4 hours an... read more
I birthed at Eden 7 month ago and I have mixed feelings (mostly negative though). When arrived at the hospital I was in a terrible pain and asked for epidural from the moment I arrived. They did not take me seriously and gave me epidural 4 hrs later when I was at 10 cm dilated. The nurse made the joke that “you kind of had the unmedicated birth”.
