I am stating this for all pt that are afraid to speak up for fear of retaliation. Train the aides based on this review. If the client has an attitude it is understandable I would as well if I was in their place. Treat people the way you would want to be treat. Or how you would want family or a friend to be treated. Client requires 24hr aide. Although aides are supposed to be 24hrs. They claim that they are only paid from 9 to 9 and are not required to assist after 9 pm. 1 aide smells of Marijuana constantly. They obviously don't have drug testing. Although bed was provided. They constantly ignore it and sleep on the living room couch. Leave lights on when not in use or out on medical appointments and client pays electric bill on limited disability income. If I could give no stars, I would they are horrible. I have one aid that is he a four days. The other time I have different aids. They either don’t show last week before I had to take my mother to the hospital, the aid was sleeping on the couch. She was out cold. I had to yell three times to wake her up. I Picked up my mother up from the hospital today got this young aid seemed nice. Stayed on the phone the whole time my mother choked on her food. She didn’t know what to do. Aides are disrespectful. Lack of etiquette, class and education. Supervisory is borderline incompetent.
