In less than 24 hours A Plus staff and owner have done more for my husband's comfort and my stress level than the one we had for the last 3 weeks. I highly recommend them - they understand and care.
Medical staff that came to out home daily was outstanding. Truly caring and respectful of our home. We had to pay out of pocket for my father's "comfort package" medications and was told the hospice agency will work with the pharmacy to reimburse me. Every year I call they say they'll take a message and someone will call me back. I've called 7 times in the last 1.5-2 months, no one has gotten back to me. Working in an assisted living and memory care community it is so important to have trusted partners in senior care. I have known Drew for many years professionally and have come to know a gentleman affectionately known as "Bear" over the last three years. Who knew there is still a company that offers a personal touch, compassion, and the priceless ability to get in touch with a person when you most need them. All this and a friendly smile. When looking for a hospice company, go with a smaller company that knows the value of being there when your customer needs you. A Plus does!
I cannot say enough good things about this company. Every single person we dealt with was caring, competent and compassionate. Although having hospice come in was an unnerving time for our family our nurse held our hand and coached us for how best to care for our loved one. My family and I are so grateful to have been able to have this company by our side during such a sad time.
