Sharing the good and the bad, hoping to help anyone in the delicate position of coordinating end-of-life hospice care for a loved one (mom, in our case). If not for certain individuals at Eden, this would be a 2-star review at best. The good: Kathy (chaplain) was marvelous; mom loved her, she made herself available to everyone involved, and wanted to help in any capacity she could. Nurses where great, but getting supplies delivered took longer than it should have and sometimes getting a call back on a weekend also took to long. Social worker was originally very nice but then turned horrible when she was confused about something actually yelling at me for something cause she didn’t understand

My mom is on hospice with Eden. And she has SUNSET GUARDIANS as legal guardians, per the court. I am being DENIED contact with Eden Hospice by SUNSET GUARIANS FOR NO LEGAL REASON. SHE IS DYING AND THEIR HOSPICE TEAM GETS ZERO STARS. I DO NIT RECOMMEND. PERIOD. REGENCY PARK II AND SUNSET GUARDIANS AND EDEN HOSPICE ARE MORALLY CORRUPT. MANDATORY REPORTERS, NOT REPORTING,. Thanks Eden Hospice.
Within 10 minutes of getting a hospice referral from our case manager at OHSU ( we hadn’t even accepted Eden at this time just reaching out to different companies to see what the options were for discharge) , an employee named Sarah reached out to my 82year old mother even though I was the point of contact. She took it upon herself to order all the equipment with my mom and create a whole lot of confusion to our discharge plan as we are already going through a lot putting my father on hospice.
