I loved it...did not want to leave. If you have a motorcycle be aware that there is three miles of steep and curvy dirt road but you can leave your bike at their office if you have other transport to the top. I road mine(Harley Davidson wide glide)all the way every day of our stay so it can be done but is slow going.
This place was amazing! The staff was nice and helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommend them for your Black Hills vacation!
We stayed in the guest house last week. We loved it. The staff was the most friendly ever! One of the best vacations ever. We also did the ATV tour and it was amazing! I would totally do it again!
Made it back to Illinois, everyone loved the house and the kids couldn't stop talking about the Atv tour, Dena and I also said it was one of our best times, Thank You again from The Lucas Family P.S. hope you grab those steaks lol
This is the best place for a vacation!! I highly recommend this place for anytime of the year!! It's in the middle of all attractions!! Mount Rushmore, Crazy House, Custer Park, Black Hills, and STURGIS!! (Yes, it's motorcycle friendly) Call them now, a book a home to rent!!! It is worth it!!
I love Edelweiss Mountain Lodging. My family has been going there since I was little. So many awesome memories! Hope to visit again soon!!
We stayed in the Reinerheim back in August 2016 - and this review is long overdue. Julie was very pleasant to deal with - and very patient with all of my questions. The property was exactly as described - and we had an amazing time. Check in and check out was very simple. I would very much recommend staying with Edelweiss Mountain Lodging.
Spent the weekend here for an early Thanksgiving/Christmas family gathering and the accommodations were fabulous! There were 22 of us and we fit with room to spare for much cheaper than it would have been to pay for 7 hotel rooms. The scenery was beautiful, the service was great and having the opportunity to be together in nature made the weekend one we won't forget! The decision was unanimous, we want to make Edelwiess Mountain Lodging our year holiday destination!
