I owe Ed Thompson V.P. my life... I entered these doors with a mission to get clean. Together, with staff intervention we developed a service plan that set me on a my path for long term sobriety. It works people. However, it is not just given to you. You have to work hard for it. I DID. July 15, I will be 3yrs no illicit Drugs, 6 months no Alcohol. If Veterans can read this before they enter the program just know that the VA also has programs that are 10 times better than this one and not necessarily. Do you have to go to Montrose VA. There are several other VA’s across the northeast region. That’ll take you and either the VA will provide transportation or you could provide your own transportation to get there The programs here at the VA or a lot less stressful than with Samaritan village put you through. Ed Thompson gave me back my life I will forever be grateful for what Samaritan did for me and my family
