I came across Ed's Mobile Mechanic while looking for someone to replace my pads and rotors using the parts I had already purchased. I did a Google search for mobile mechanics and saw that Ed's had quite a few good reviews so I decided to give him a call. The reviews are spot on! Ed is polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. Ed communicated clearly before the appointment and arrived exactly when he said he would. He replaced my truck’s A/C compressor and helped be charge the system with refrigerant until the compressor engaged , and finished the job within the estimated timeframe. The work area was left clean, and the final cost matched the original quote—no surprises. I am very satisfied with the service and will use Ed’s Mobile Mechanic again when needed. Highly recommended.
Did brakes on my truck and a week later the front right side started smoking! Took it to the dealer ship and they said it was the brake line. He does not know how to diagnose and also charged full price for just front brakes and did not even do the rear. Unpleasant and rude customer service.
Ed was fantastic!! Our alternator went out on us while on a trip to Indianapolis with my family.. Called Ed and within the hour he was here and had it all changed out in about 2 hours.. VERY professional!! Had receipts for the parts and the charge wasn’t bad for someone who came to our hotel and fixed it in the parking lot!! I would recommend calling Ed if you are in a pinch on the road, he will be the best decision you will have made that day!! Thanks again Ed!!
OMG... He is a life saver. My brake line busted while I was driving without warning and Ed was able to make it to my house to fix it the next morning after my boyfriend called him. Not only was his work fast and efficient, he is a pleasant man and very professional. I would highly recommend his work.
