Bought a new vehicle couple of months ago. At the time I purchased the additional tire warranty. a couple of months later I noticed the tire warning light. I returned to dealer and they inflated the low tire and did nothing else. They did not put it on the lift to inspect the tire. WhenI insisted they found a puncture and service department said it could not be patched and would replace the tire. With dealers attitude I wanted to return the lease car. When I talked to **** ******** at dealer he would not listen. He kept insi... read more
Business response:
****,I understand what you are saying, and you are entitled to your comments and have done so through all digital channels over the past 6-weeks. When you first reached out to me, you demanded we return the vehicle because we offered to repair the tire vs full replacement. We followed the protocols of the aftermarket tire warranty you purchased. This was not an Ed Martin Toyota call, this was a Zurich call, as they are the administrators of the policy. There is no need to scrap a tire that has been punctured on the bottom of... read more
Ed ********************** Toyota is dirty and unethical. I worked on a sale with them for a week. i had told them I wanted to buy the ************ was ready to move forward. The guy I was working with said he would call me and it was a go. I am from **********. When I didnt hear from the guy, I called the sales manager *******. ******* told me there was somebody else coming in to look at the truck the next day and locals come first. So basically, he discriminated against me because I am from another state and refused to sell... read more
Business response:
*****, Since the ***** supply chain issues started about three years ago, we have only been selling new vehicles to ******* residents. The reason is that we only get about half the vehicles we got pre-pandemic. This policy of keeping the vehicles local helps our local customer base from having to shop outside *******. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
On May 24th a 25 and 22 year old went into this BIG car dealership. Found a car that they wanted to trade in a car for. The 25 year old has excellent credit and was allowed to co-sign for the 22 year old. After looking at the purchase agreement it has the 25 year old listed as buyer and the 22 year old as co-buyerHeres the kicker... 25 year old DID NOT have a job at the time and the credit app has a company listed as employer that has never been a place of employment and has it down as 1 month at current job(no such job)!! Cash purchase of a used 2013 Dodge Avenger. Stephany, the sales representative, was very kind but seemed preoccupied and I was left alone several times for long periods of time while "she asked" my questions to the used car sales manager, Mark. Finally, Mark came over and had shown me a repair sheet of all the repairs they had done to the car and explained that it is in great shape. After meeting with the finance officer, the deal was complete. I took the car the next day to Fort Wayne (2 hours away) to my college daughter. ... read more
Business response:
Customer and I spoke, we are on the same page and agreed he would be whole after we reimburse the cost of a new battery as the failure could have been provided by a simple batter test. Check has been mailed out, customer is happy. We are sorry to have inconvenienced the customer.
The service department and upper management were extremely helpful with the issues concerning a used vehicle I purchased, however, Brenda who was my sales "representative" was useless. I bought the car in less than one hour and the car was to be ready in 3 days (I purchased Saturday morning as soon as they opened).. Tuesday, however it took another 7 days. When I finally spoke with her on Friday , she said she assumed I had been talking to service. She also offered to tear up my contract, rather than to find out exactly what... read more
