I purchased an escape from Ed Kenley Ford. It came with their lifetime powertrain warranty. After a few years of owning it, my transmission went out. I took it in to get it checked out, it was out of factory warranty so i figured i would end up buying a new transmission. They called me and said it needed a transmission, but because i had the powertrain lifetime warranty then it was all covered and I just had to pay a couple hundred for the deductible.
