Was having grinding issues with my Delonghi la specialista. Purchased the Diagnostic & Tune Up package in advance. The service was phenomenal - I had brought my machine in when they were ready. Within a few days Damien reached out to update me on the repair and some recommendations. Next day I picked up the coffee machine and it was cleaned (I live in an area with hard water) and running to perfection. It was like the first day I pulled it out of the box. Thanks to Kim and Damien for their exceptional customer service.
Terrible customer service. Will not acknowledge that they sent us a defective unit and then want us to pay for the shipping costs! Tried blaming us for using too fine a "pre-ground" coffee, but, um, this is a "grind and brew" which we purchased as not to use pre-ground. They questioned the setting we were using and we mentioned that, "Well, if there are settings NOT to be used, why build them into the machine"?
