Dr. Jose Avila-Calles truly saved my life. I came into my appointment today at ECPC Apex Interventional Pain and Spine feeling very unwell, and he immediately recognized that something was not right. He identified irregular heartbeats/AFib and acted without hesitation by sending me straight to the ER. What stood out most was how calm and reassuring he was. ECPC was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and the doctor was very caring.. I highly recommend them. They were very thoughtful throughout the entire procedure.

I have been seeing Dr. Avila for several months now and it took 28 years but I finally found the BEST pain management doctor ever!! Dr. Avila is so kind and genuinely caring it’s amazing. He’s empathetic and he really listens when you speak. I’ve been living with chronic pain and depression due to the pain for 28 years. I’ve been to doctors from NY to Florida and had more injections than I can count. None of them helped. I had my first neck injection with Dr. Avila and he explained everything as he went along.
