Work was expressly contingent on treating carpenter bees on the initial service and following services.  Spent 30 minutes clarifying this with the salesperson and the manager.  The next day the technician showed up and did not know he was supposed to treat for bees, he did not have the correct equipment and the work did not get completed as agreed.   I cancelled the contract within the 3 days and tried to get a partial refund for the initial service since they did not do what was promised… the reason I signed up.  I spent tw... read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! BEWARE, THEY ARE SCOUNDRELS!!! I lost $650 to Eco Shield over the last two months due to their ineffective product and fraudulent sales practices! First, a young salesperson appears uninvited on my front porch in early May 2025, selling their service. He told me how they could eliminate 100% of the spiders, earwicks, and nasty bugs on my property and how their product is 100% environmentally safe. BEWARE!!! This company is misleading and falsely advertises "discounted" pricing for new customers. After noticing multiple charges on our credit card, my husband called to cancelled and had to haggle with the customer service rep to then be told there was a $250 (plus tax) early cancellation fee. There is no discount- it is a complete scam. I only gave one star because I had to.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was told I have an ant problem by the sales person.  It was a fine dust by windows in the front of our home. I now have had two inspectors verify the dust is simply from the dry wall.  One of the two inspectors was from Eco Shield. Sales person lied to me.  Stated if I did not address ants would destroy the wood. I should have read the reviews prior to signing. When you call you get routed to a National customer care center. Sold all sorts of promises on their treatments but when treatment actually occurred, the technician was here not even 5 minutes and did not spray beyond perimeter of the house which did absolutely nothing. They did not respond to my attempts to call for a "touch-up" until I called them to cancel their subscription service that they require, at which case they sent another technician to do the exact same thing with equivalent results. I should have known better than to sign on with a company that does door-to-door sales. I liked the idea of pest control using natural ingredients. Signed a one year contract. Service and pest control was okay at best. Called to cancel contract once fulfilled. Obviously, their customer service is in an Asian country. Called and canceled service after contract date. Horrible company. Scheduling is nothing like they promised. I can not get a hold of anyone at the local office to schedule. They tell you when they are scheduling your monthly service, at their convenience, and often send text the night before for the next morning even though they are supposed to schedule WITH you for when you can be home for inside or backyard service. They have no care or concern for customers or scheduling. In addition, last two services have been not adequate as there are issues and pests not eliminated.... read more
