Turned on my furnace for the first time this year and it stopped working. By the time I was done checking the thermostat, breakers and furnace unit it was after 5:00 PM but I called Economy Heating & Air anyway and left a message. To my surprise I received a call back before 6:00 PM and had a technician scheduled to come out the next day btw 1 - 5PM. David arrived by 2:00 PM, quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. Very satisfied with prompt, polite, knowledgable service for a greatd value!
Great Service from Economy Heating and Air! I had an issue with my 11-year-old Lennox AC unit that started humming loudly and stopped cooling. Economy Heating and Air came out promptly and their technician was professional and knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed a dead capacitor, replaced it efficiently, and even checked my coils for good measure. The intermittent buzzing stopped, and the fan is running smoothly now. My AC unit went out, and my house was almost 90 degrees on a 104-degree day. I had to call in for a same-day service and went through 4 different places before I found Economy. David (Dave) was insanely quick and professional from start to finish. He got there a little over an hour after our call, clearly explained my unit's issue (which he found in the first 5 minutes of being in my house), and resolved it within 30 minutes. Jake from Economy Heating was excellent in every way. My first call was to another company and they told me I needed a $17,000 replacement system because the compressor was "frozen". I was skeptical and called Economy. Jake arrived within an hour and almost immediately found a blown fuse. I got a replacement while Jake did a little more troubleshooting. When I got back we found the new fuse completely fixed the problem. I now have a new favorite HVAC company :-)
