I earn points very often. Last night while passing thru I attempted to use my points for a room. Unfortunately, the front desk man felt it was necessary to lie to me about not being able to have a room since I didn’t book in advance. Customer care said otherwise ended up refunding my points and placing me in a better hotel. The lack of service is what got me.
We received a complete run around at check in. Guy at check in said that we couldnt use points and that we could call customer service to get them back. Customer service told us the guy was lying and that they have had many conplaints from that location. Customer service then booked us another room at a different hotel. We were able to book and check in without any issues. Needless to say we wont ever choose that Econolodge again, and I hope and pray the guy working front desk finds another career bc hospitality isnt for him... read more
The staff was super friendly. The room was easily accessible and clean. I would stay there again, no problem.
