First I will openly say I got a discounted rate. Thank goodness. The room they put us in needed help. The curtain rod was completely broken- hanging on the center support by electrical tape, we couldn't shut the curtain fully and the parking lot light was right into our room. The lamp on the night stand didn't have a knob and just had a tiny little wire looking thing to turn it on. We stayed here for one night after returning from Glacier National Park. We did a late check-in around 11:00 PM, and the front desk staff was still available. The room was clean, and everything—including the AC—worked properly. Free breakfast is provided for all guests, and there are many food options and grocery stores nearby.
Old fashioned hotel but very clean. In the small cute city.
After several days of hiking Glacier and van life, I was excited for a nice hot shower and a good night's sleep on a larger bed. I got neither. The non smoking room smelled like stale cigarettes. The shower nozzle was so filled with hard water build-up, 3 streams were shooting over the curtain into the bathroom and 5 or 6 were shooting directly into the wall.
