I really like Castro Valley it's clean and nice and everybody at the hotel is great very accommodating and clean and nice people in and out of the hotel room
The facility is old and tired. As such, it needs renovations, yet everything is clean and functional (including hot water on demand). What impressed me is the onsite management (cleaning staff too): they were cordial and always willing to be of service. For example, the coffee in the morning wasn't working (air pot inadvertently missing its funnel straw, again cuz that piece should be removed for proper cleaning and maintenance) and the gentleman immediately fixed it. I came here for a cheap room not expecting too much from the hotel but was surprised the room was very clean, the floors were clean, its a quiet hotel and the people that run it are very nice-i will return whenever im in castro valley
