This 70s hotel was most recently remodeled in 1996, resulting in rooms that are contemporary in decor, simple, clean and comfortable. AS previous clean small rooms but who is in the room??? Breakfast free is muffins and juice and coffee. Free shuttle available and frendly. I was told in the winter they rent rooms by the week and month so the clientelle may be different than the people there in the summer, but I would go back and pocket the difference in savings.
The wife and I stayed last minute here and were pleasantly surprised by how clean the facility was. The parking lot is spacious and the location is in walking distance to the heart of downtown. We were able to check in, grab some grub and walk around/explore safely. Considering, that the nearby places were double the rates, we were happy with our stay.
Our family of three (20 month old son) enjoyed our stay in Anchorage, Alaska. Special thanks to the hospitality at Econo Inn. The staff was helpful and friendly when we requested extra towels and blankets, as we all know small ones require a little something all of the time. The room was clean and neat, check in and check out, fast and efficient. One of the perks of staying at Econo Inn is the attached restaurant Dami- BEST sushi rolls!
Best deal in the town. Specious wooden floored room with new beds, linens, and towels. After experiencing other over priced hotels, motels, and inns,...Worth every penny in Alaska standard! I will be back!!!!
This place may not look the nicest, but it definitely is worth the price. Stayed here for a couple nights, and didn't have any problems. It's an inn, and it's one of the cheapest in town, so I wasn't expecting something fancy. The front desk was kind and was willing to answer my questions. The rooms had a refrigerator, shower, night stand and dresser, tv with cable, and a great restaurant connected to the inn! If I'm in town again for an emergency, I'll definitely come and stay here again.
Budget friendly hotel with super reasonable pricing during this tourist trap season. The wife and I needed somewhere to stay for a night when our accommodations fell through. Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised by the clean room and spacious parking. The sushi place attached was one of the best I've been to.
