My wife and I were on our way back from the movies, and our car started to shut down. Lights shutting off, transmission slowing down, steering wheel locking up, etc. Very scary. We made it to an Auto Zone, they jumped the car, and within 5 minutes after the cables were taken off, the car shut down again. I was 99 percent sure it was the alternator. Today brought my 2005 Prius with almost 200k miles for an inspection before a long road trip. I met Andy and a couple others of the team. I'm convinced that they are honest and competent to the highest degree. They definitely have a new loyal customer, and their excellent reviews are totally justified! Went back for headlamp replacement. Ecomax did not disappoint. So generous and dependable. Excellent service, low bill.
Today I had a full EGR system service done, along with the water pump and thermostat. It was purely preventive maintenance. Literally a life saver. Had a really worrying misfire issue on my EV Hybrid, made an appointment and brought it to the dealership for service and was quoted 2-3 weeks *before they'd even look at the car to diagnose the problem*. Definitely not ideal. Problem was, I was on my battery to not damage the combustion engine. With my battery as low as it was, I was about to be stranded 15+ miles from home.
