Hired Eco-Holdings to calculate a load bearing beam size for wall removal in my house. When the framer opened up the sheetrock to do the job they discovered the floor joists from the second story were running perpendicular to the new beam, it was assumed in the load calculations and sealed letter from Eco that they were running parallel. Spoke to Gary and stated that the framers were on site performing the work and needed to know if the beam size would still be correct ASAP knowing the floor joist assumption was incorrect.
