I spent 11 days in ccu and recoery units and 3rd floor west from the time i walked into er and told them my symptoms ( stroke related)ihad nothing but the best of care all the way through 2 surgerys and recovery facilities are old but soon to be replaced but staff and nurses are the best

First impression wasn’t cleanliness. After two days on 6th floor - nurses were nice kind sweet and caring. I spent the night in CCU where rest wasn’t great. But again, amazing staff. Then come the last day... I was told early on that I could go to regular room and SHOWER! Yeahs! Well then an hour later I was told we were waiting on a room to be cleaned, several hours later I had a room! But wait, that room didn’t have a bed . Hum, I think I’m going to need one of those. Horrible, my brother and his girlfriend had a car wreck and he dislocated some toes and had to have stitches in his hand. They never even cleaned any blood off of him, i had to try to do it myself! He was pretty banged up and could barely walk and we had to help him out of the hospital all on our own as the staff watched. Plus they didn't even give him any type of pain meds, and they gave him an antibiotic he was ALLERGIC to!! In 2012 I had my baby boy at ecm. I wouldn't have had him anywhere else! The staff is incredible, the rooms are incredible, even the food isn't that bad for a hospital. If by some chance I had another baby, without a doubt I would be at ecm again!
