When I was at ecker center and left the group home and started living my own I had more than one case manager it was Laura and Jessica at the time help me with my medical conditions that were popping up out of nowhere. Alexia woke up at 4:30 in the morning to drive me to my surgery for my blood tumor and I couldn't be more grateful. Ecker Center does not manage your money properly. If you do something bad once they'll kick you out and and transfer you somewhere else. My experience and Ecker Center is turbulent and stability but more turbulent times. I do not recommend anyone to ever come here if you are looking for true help.
They do not care. Many past and present. Bring concerns to them, they do not care, belittling, cover up, they have out right lied repeatedly..
Don't have become your representative payee they're grossing negligence and transparency is non-existent. They will allow you to pay for everything out of your own check if you have a roommate without checking into it. Their psychiatry system treats you like a deli number order focus on your weights instead of your medication and you might feel like a science experiment. Case management they won't answer your calls and they'll change appointments at last minute.
