Management is rude and unprofessional. Carl Jones the manager during the day and the night lady have NASTY attitudes. Hotel is decent but wouldn’t recommend based on their service👎🏽🍅
I only stayed one night and will not be returning—at least not under the current management. While the hotel itself is quite nice, the experience was overshadowed by unprofessional staff who seemed more interested in socializing and gossiping than assisting guests. Do not stay here. The Manager Carl and his assistant manager are rude and disrespectful. I booked for a whole week. Monday, September 8th to Monday, September 15th. On Wednesday morning I awake to a big tall man banging on my door claiming to be front desk. I told him I will call the front desk to see what was the issue as I’m a small female with a child feeling unsafe with a random man banging on my door demanding I come out. On July 18th Henrico/Lakeside was hit with a big storm. Our family ( 7 month old, 7 year old and dog) were all exhausted and had gone 2 days without power. We decided to get a hotel to make things easier on my infant in the heat and to get comfy. Get to the hotel and not only did I spend the first 45 minutes trying to get the TV to cast correctly. but the HOTEL ITSELF LOST POWER. Now I understand life happens!
