When I moved here a year ago I was very pleased with the leasing staff and everyone in the office. For some reason the original staff are gone as of like 4/5 months ago and there is a new staff that is very, very, very hard to deal with. Edit: I was informed that the main leasing office lady doesn’t work there anymore as of recently. So maybe that will help with some of the issues. I have lived here for a month SO FAR! The worst living experience I have had! I moved in during the middle of May (5/21). After my first week of renting I noticed a water leak issue from the frozen AC unit impacting my carpet. I attempted to create a work order before Memorial Day Weekend. My work order was not started until after Memorial weekend. I had to make my maintenance order a priority at the leasing office to get the work started. I have now lived at Echo Park for a full year and my overall experience has been horrible, especially since new management took over. Managerial failures have put my roommate and I in danger multiple times over the past 6 months. There has been an unknown man lingering around the back of the building along the wood line & multiple police reports have been filed. I just moved into Echo Park and had to put in a few maintenance requests. Mike was extremely helpful; I’m very happy about how fast the maintenance requests get done!
I really enjoyed living at Echo Park. The fitness center, dog park, and business center made life convenient, and the community felt safe and quiet. The only downside was the valet trash — some neighbors didn’t follow the rules, which occasionally caused odors in the hallway. Still, I’d definitely recommend it for families or single professionals. It truly felt like home!
