On our way to South Padre Island, I got a rock chip on my windshield. We were planning to spend the whole day on the island and did not want the chip to spread while my car was parked in the heat. This was on a Saturday and I was looking for any auto glass repair shop open at 9 AM. No options. Maybe one that would’ve been out-of-the-way.
