we have always had a wonderful dinner experience at the Ebbitt Room and tonight's dinner was just a continuing positive experience.
Second time we went there and they were out of the specials. I guess they order enough to get them through until 6pm and to hell with everyone else. Poor management just based on the bottom line given the location they probably could care less about repeat customers.....oh, and they rush the hell out of you. As an experienced diner that goes to many high end restaurants snd NEVER complains you can take that to the bank...
Very disappointed. Meal came out cold, steak not cooked as ordered. They took the steak back and it came back still cooked wrong only this time no steak sauce. The manager came over and did nothing. Not a desert offer, or an after diner drink. Zero zip. Will not go back. We live here year round and have often frequented the bar and porch, but they lost our business.
My adult children enjoyed their meals. My steak was way overdone but I did not contact the waiter but we did not see much of him. The deviled eggs were only 1.5 eggs for $13😳.
