Very good The Ebbitt Room is located in the Virginia Hotel in Cape May, New Jersey. It is well known for its gourmet foods. On a recent visit, I ordered the pan roasted chicken which was excellent and my boyfriend ordered the pan roasted salmon with shellfish. The Ebbitt Room is absolutely beautiful inside, however, we were seated at a table for two, which I felt, was too close to other tables to enjoy an intimate dinner. excellent service and atmosphere If you like fine, inventive food and a lovely dining experience-Visit the Ebbitt Room in the Virginia Hotel. The piano player even knew a old time song, quite impressive. The dining room is well appointed even the guest bathrooms.
pricey The Ebbit room is right off the beach but can be a little bit pricey. It has good food and you can also walk to it from many of the neighboring hotels.
RecommendedOutstanding food, drinks and service. The porch setting is beautiful. My absolute favorite restaurant in Cape May.

we have always had a wonderful dinner experience at the Ebbitt Room and tonight's dinner was just a continuing positive experience.
Second time we went there and they were out of the specials. I guess they order enough to get them through until 6pm and to hell with everyone else. Poor management just based on the bottom line given the location they probably could care less about repeat customers.....oh, and they rush the hell out of you. As an experienced diner that goes to many high end restaurants snd NEVER complains you can take that to the bank...
