I lived there for four years. I just bought a townhouse nearby. The area is safe and I always enjoyed living there. The gym was convenient and the grounds are maintained well. The people who live there are generally friendly. I never experienced any crime and the office staff was always nice and responsive. I have and would recommend this place to people who want to rent in Columbia.
The community is overall clean and well-maintained. Maintenance usually comes within 24-48 hours once scheduled in the app. And Kechelle does a great job hosting events for the community and is very responsive if there are any issues or maintenance concerns. I reached out to her this past week about a potential water issue and she was very attentive and got back to me with updates regarding how the maintenance team will resolve the issue immediately.
After 5 months, the mice issue was resolved. ---- Beware: Expensive and Mice-Infested! If you don’t want to share your living space with mice, think twice before moving here. We moved in three months ago, optimistic about this apartment, but the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From day one, we’ve been dealing with a severe mice infestation. The staff is stellar and the facilities well maintained. There are folks in the leasing office five days a week who are busy, so making an appointment to see them is helpful, but all are supportive and responsive . The sales and service supervisor is a caring and competent person who Initiates activities that build community and has a customer service approach that shows in how the leasing office is run. I've seen a couple cars get their wheels stolen from the parking lot, including my own. The cars are left on either plastic crates or concrete blocks if you're lucky. Most recently, I saw a car get its tires stolen last Saturday, April 12. My car's wheels were stolen in early March. I reached out to management about it recently, and they confirmed they have no plans to put in cameras or do much to increase security.
