Delish and good gluten and dairy free options.
Whenever my kids want a snack and we’re in Old Town Lafayette, walking or driving, we stop in for the delicious banana bread, and grab some ice cream and a sandwich as well. Great place to hang out next to the splash pad park and enjoy a bite to eat. I recommend trying the cheesecake too!
Usually have a good experience here. Not so much today. The mint chocolate chip ice cream tasted like toothpaste. They were out of berries and strawberries for the smoothies. The kid working the register was nice but the lady working was kind of rude.

Eats and sweets is amazing! We have always loved stopping by for great sandwiches and delicious treats. So they were my first thought for a custom cake for our 5 year anniversary. We had a s'mores cake that we've been talking about for the past 5 years. Eats and Sweets was able to make one like the original even better! We shared with family and everyone after it was the best they've had. Highly recommend Eats and Sweets for anything delicious you ever need!
The actual ice cream menu was very different from the online menu. Not many interesting or appealing flavors. Not many topping choices. And the ice cream tasted bland and not rich. It had a weird, crystallized consistency. The tables were all filthy. Would not go back.
Adrianna was the person who greeted us and took our orders. She explained how their menu works and told us of the specials, all the time with a beautiful smile on her face! Our sandwiches were delicious, super fresh bread and veggies. We’d go back in a heartbeat!!!
