Very disappointed in the taste of everything I got. I ordered all the Greek meals Dolmatas tasted like they came out of a jar. Mousaka had wet potato in it. The avgolemono soup was thick like chowder. Not good at all, unfortunately. A waste of $30.
Food was a disaster.Wanted Greek after having insane souvlakis at South Street Souvlaki last week and got mushy garbage souvlakis with grilled chicken thighs that were over seasoned and dried out to death. They botched my pork souvlaki order and gave me some shaved fatty junk on a pita with mushy tomatoes and soggy. Stop capping you’re Greek and authentic you might have been raised in Greece after your parents immigrated there but your version of Greek is even worse than Moustaki.
I was excited to try this place given the high reviews. The Japanese restaurant next door is excellent so why not try. If you come in expecting a restaurant experience then you may be disappointed. This establishment has decent Greek food at a step above fast food. Everything was fine, but not beyond that. You order up front and the food comes when ready on a tray. There is an odor in the restaurant which was unappealing.
