They denied me because I’m on mental health leave at work and can’t make ends meet on EI. They said if it was a regular layoff I’d be supported, but because I’m off due to my bipolar condition, I don’t qualify for help. So much for being “for the people” when you pick and choose what people you help based on genetics I didn’t get to pick. Real nice.
