I went there on September 26, 2016 for a pre-employment drug screen I signed in gave the receptionist my driver's license and took a seat. A young male Specimen Processor came out and called my name his name is Garrett and took me back to do the drug test. I took my adult son to East Side after 2 weeks of nausea, night fevers and fatigue. The Doctor's only advice was for him to force himself to eat. Fortunately, I was able to get him in to see my family practitioner later the same day. He identified a large abdominal mass and ordered further tests. Following the advice given by the East Side physician could easily have cost my son's life as we later learned he had symptoms of liver cancer! I have been here many times. I was shocked to find out they advertise a 30 minute wait time or less, as In the at least half a dozen times I have been here, the wait has never been less than 2 HOURS, even when the waiting room has been empty. I had to stay an extra hour one time while they figured out my insurance, and the doctors I have seen haven't listened to my concerns and even been rude. This Urgent Care is wonderful!I have kids that get sick at all the wrong times.This urgent care,the staff and physicians are some of the most caring docs I have ever met.They have xray right there and do their best to make you comfortable and cared for.They are open late and all weekends.I have never waited more that 30minutes after registering to see a doc & like the fact that they scan your insurance info instead of leaving it lay around for others.They have vending machines so I can get treats for the kids & a flat screen... read more
I know from personal experience that waiting is normally what one does at an urgent care center...however, Eastside Urgent Care is not a normal urgent care. First off, the people that work there are actually FRIENDLY!! I know..a true shock. And they're fast...yes, that's right...it's not a typo...they are fast. I only wish they could become my primary care physicians!
