Eastside Club Tavern is good fun. This is a good place to stop in for a drink. They seem to have a lively crowd and the appetizers were really good. We played pool though and didn't have any trouble getting a table. Its a fun place.
Eastside Club Tavern is a must visit You have to go to Eastside. Great beer selection. Great prices. The food is AMAZING with great prices. Often have music. have pool tables. The only reason it has a 4 instead of a 5 is the cash only policy...who pays with cash anymore....total pain.
Great prices on good beer! – The Eastside Tavern is the only actual tavern in Olympia left. After the demise of Olympia's downtown from a peaceful hippie enclave to a dreary hipster paradise, many of the better cultural parts of olympia went out of business, one of the last being the historic spar. An excellent throwback to sunnier hippy days is the eastside tavern. On mondays and thursdays you can have a pint of the best beer the northwest has to offer for around 2.25. A Beerlover's Haven! – Possibly the best part about the Eastside Tavern is that it has around 40-50 beers on tap at all times! AND they are constantly updating their selection! The pitchers are cheap; the single pints aren't bad either. The ambience is that of a good, old "worn in" bar. The servers are friendly and know their products for the most part.
